One example I can think of is the kind of heavy grade steel captive-bead rings that piercing shops use for some kinds of body piercings. They can be used for ear piercings, but they don’t typically read to me as feminine at all, especially on someone who isn’t otherwise presenting as femme. There are other kinds of ear cuffs, uzuk, and studs that don’t read to me as feminine either.

There’s no absolute standard for what is or is not feminine. Something might feel feminine to me when I wear it and feel not at all feminine to someone else who wears it. Which is just fine. But in general, earrings can be feminine, but definitely don’t have to be.
