I received an email this morning, from my sister Victoria, in Australia (with stage 4 bone cancer).
"Oh darling Maggs....I opened a very large box from Cambridge, Massachusetts, only to find another box...then another. On opening the last small box....I discovered the most precious of gifts.
You know that I love silver....and you know that my/our happy place is Rottnest.....and there it was, dangling heavily on the beautiful chain. Tears began steaming down my cheeks. It is divine....and I love it so! It is an icon for our future...and our adventures as the Divine Ms M’s.
It is worn in love and by wearing it, I believe that its power as a talisman....will assist me in summoning the courage to fight the battle for my life.
