Stálo by to za tu váhu .925 sterling, plus (těžko vypočítat) váha neznámé ryzosti Zlato, násobek současných cen taveniny šrotu; v zastavárně. Někdy je pozlacení tak tenké, že pro zastavárníka nestojí za nic. Sometimes a mark of 1/20 nebo 1/10, say 14k or 18k "GP" can add up to a surprising amount of gold, that you should demand something for. As jewelry however - it is worth more at a retail store - as the silver and gold content would be calculated using the current spot metal prices (what it cost the jewelry maker to purchase) multiplied by a mark up of perhaps 300% (to pay for the labour, nad hlavou, plus profit margin). If it has the name or mark of a famous designer or jeweller..or is antique…or has an interesting history (J.F.K. then Tupac owned it)…or is so attractive everyone notices it…then the sky's the limit for prices. Whatever someone is willing to pay.
“925” is a SILVER mark. It means the article is “925 fine” or 925 parts in a thousand (92.5%) of pure silver and the rest is alloy. Gold is marked in karats (Kt) a 24 kt is pure gold, tak 18 kt is 75% ryzí zlato, 12 kt is 50% zlato, and so forth. So if you have an article that appears to be gold but is marked “925”, it means it is sterling silver (925 is sterling) and has a gold plating.
