So, how long is the mining history of Dushan jade?
Dushan jade has a long history of being mined and used. According to the textual research of the cultural relic “Nanyang Jade Shovel” unearthed from Huangshan Mountain in Nanyang County, it should belong to the Neolithic Age, about 6,000 years ago. According to the records of my country’s first chronological history “Han Shu”, Shagangdian Village at the foot of Dushan Mountain was called “Yujie Temple” in the Han Dynasty. It was the place where jadeware was produced and sold at that time, and it has a history of more than 2,000 years.
Duyu has an important historical position in our country. As early as five or six thousand years ago, ancient people had begun to use duyu. Among the jade artifacts unearthed in the “Yinxu”, there are many duyu products.
