How long do sterling silver rings last?
If well made and treated well a good sterling silver ring will last long enough to be passed down through several generations.
Currently, I am wearing two different sterling silver rings that I wear every day and have had one for about 30 years and the other about 20 yıl. They are starting to thin from the constant use and abuse so I need to get them repaired before they get lost.
Are sterling silver rings good?
In my opinion, sterling silver rings are good if you like the look, feel and characteristics of the metal. Sterling Silver is 92.5% Silver and 7.5% Bakır. It is very shiny & a beautiful white color. It does tarnish (discolor due to oxidation) but it is easily cleaned with a polishing cloth and/or a silver dip liquid cleaner that removes the tarnish without a polishing cloth. It is a very inexpensive & stylish white metal compared to white gold and platinum.
