Violet crystals are called amethysts, which can be of various shades of purple, some are reddish, some are blue, and most are reddish. Natural topaz, like amethyst, is usually uneven in color, and chromophores or ribbons can often be seen.

For amethyst and topaz, we may be a little bit conflicted when choosing. On the one hand, from the perspective of pursuing quality, we certainly hope that the more uniform the color, the better; but from the perspective of identification, the uneven color caused by the color band and chromophore is precisely a key evidence of naturalness.
