2) Process steps of claw setting
Position: Place the gem on the setting position, pay attention to the size and thickness of the gem, and then use an appropriate umbrella drill or flying saucer to hold the position on the claw according to the size of the gem. The height of the holding position can be adjusted according to the thickness of the gem. set.
Car parking pit: If the gem is larger than the setting position, use umbrella diamond or peach diamond undercarriage to make the gem equal to the setting position. Then you need to perform corresponding operations according to the type of gemstones. For example, use an umbrella to drill pits for cambered gemstones. When opening the pit, it should be consistent with the depth and height determined during the degree position, and the intersection point of the claw foot and the cylinder position cannot be empty.
Claw: Use tweezers to dip the gemstone into the ink, place the stone in the setting position diagonally and then push it upright with the tweezers. Shearing claw: Use shearing pliers to cut the claw. When cutting the claw, press the claw head by hand to avoid the claw head bounce off. When cutting the claw, pay close attention to the length of the claw, neither too long nor too short.
File claw: After cutting the claw, use a triangular file to file the claw to the height of the suction claw, and the claw height should be the same. After that, each time the inside of the claw is trimmed to the gemstone with a bamboo leaf file, and then the outside of the claw is rounded to facilitate the suction of the claw and the beads. When filing the claws, use the left thumb or appetite to specify the position, and be careful not to file the gem surface.
Suction claw: Use a suitable bead suction claw, swing evenly from the outside to the inside to both sides, until the claw head is sucked round and close to the gemstone, and the outside of the claw is sucked to the same height as the inside.
