Would you prefer your husband or boyfriend to pierce their ears? What earrings look best on men?
Ja, for sure. I think every men should pierce his ears,. Like many women. So they can wear earrings too, if they like. That isn’t easy when you don’t have pierced ears.
My husband has pierced his ears too. That happened after I asked him to pierce them. I always wanted him to wear earrings, like other men that I knew. Luckily he had no problem with that, so he pierced his ears and started to wear earrings. Two hoops of about 1 tomme. Pretty big for that time, he had the biggest hoops of all men I knew, but I liked them.
Personally I think hoop earrings looks best on men. And the bigger the better. So since a few years my husband wears them too, big hoop earrings. Approximately they measure 2,5 eller 3 tomme, so I have nothing to complain about.
That happened after I male patient of mine showed up with big hoop earrings, like I always wear and you only see girls/women wearing. Because I never saw a man before wearing these hoops, I had to smile. Because that made him uncomfortable, I complimented him with his choice. And said that I really appreciated his courage to wear big hoops. After that he said this was the first time he was wearing these hoops. And he was curious about my opinion. Because I wear big hoops all the time. After that I told him that I was flabbergasted seeing him with big hoops but I really loved it. That was the truth, so I wanted my husband to wear them too.
When I told him my story, he said that he wanted to try them. To make me happy and feel what I always feel, wearing big hoop earrings. And after having a hard time getting everybody used to his hoops, he felt very lucky. He really appreciated his new, cool or feminine look and said to me that will wear his hoops as longs as possible.
And I’m very happy with his decision. he has a strong feminine side. And these ‘girly’ hoops accentuate his soft, sensitive side without being too female at all. Because hoops aren’t earrings that are only worn by women, only the size is a bit bigger than men normally wear.
