Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision Bureau: 7 batches of silver jewelry failed inspection
China Quality News Network News Recently, the official website of the Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision Administration announced the results of the 2019 silver jewelry product quality supervision spot check. In accordance with the provisions of the “Product Quality Law of the People’s Republic of China” and related work arrangements, the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau recently conducted random inspections on the product quality of silver jewelry manufacturers in the province.
In this supervision and spot check, a total of 30 batches of products produced by 30 enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households were spot-checked. The spot-checked areas involved Anshun City and Qiandongnan Prefecture. 7 batches of products from 7 enterprises failed to pass the inspection, and the detection rate of defective products was 23.3%. The discovery rate of problem companies was 23.3%.
This supervision and spot check is based on GB 11887-2012 “Regulations on the purity of precious metals in jewelry and naming methods”, GB 28480-2012 “Regulations on the limit of harmful elements in jewelry”, QB/T 1690-2004 “Provisions on tolerances for the quality measurement of precious metal jewelry”, QB/T 4189-2011 “Noble Metal Jewelry Process Quality Evaluation Specification” and other standards require inspection.
