To put it simply, diffusion treatment is a dyeing treatment method, in which the original color is subjected to a coloring heating process to make it color. Sapphire’s second-degree burn is heated by adding chemical powders containing iron and titanium color elements, while second-degree burnt rubies are added with chromium-containing chemical raw materials. Because of the larger volume of chromium, the surface of the ruby ​​with diffusion treatment is less Flat, and diffusion-treated sapphire will have less surface unevenness, because iron and titanium are not as bulky as chromium.
