What type of earrings do girls like so much?

It’s very individual.
I like the look of studs, but my ear lobes are thin and set very close to my head – so studs actually poke me behind my ears. I also am continuously losing them due to backs coming off and the earring falling out.
Hoops get caught in my hair a lot, and I struggle to close them.
I prefer shepard’s hook dangles for comfort. They can be bent so they stay in.
You will have to ask the person if they have a preference.
Is it possible to pierce your own ear with the earring?
I’m just going to assume you meant regular ear lobe piercings. It is possible if you push hard enough, but I really don’t advise doing that unless you want to risk damaging the skin. If you don’t trust other people doing your piercings then get a piercing kit. They’re about $10 online. You get multiple needles, so you can pierce more things! Now for a little anecdote…I got my ears pierced with the gun (ugh) when I was 7 years old. I had trouble with my right ear piercing, so after some months I took it out. It closed up most of the way, but I still had a little indention where it had been. Солай, whenever I wanted to wear earrings for a school dance or whatever else, I’d push (really hard) and the earring would repierce the hole. It would hurt and bleed a bit, but I’d wipe that up and get on my bus. Иә, I was 7 and repiercing my ear at the bus stop. Luckily my right ear hasn’t given any trouble in years, so I don’t have to do that anymore.
Why do my earlobes close up after a few days without earrings even though I’ve had them pierced for about 15 жылға?
I actually have this problem as well, although my ears have only been pierced for four years.
The problem is that your piercings are being chronically irritated. Ear piercings that have healed normally won’t close up so easily. There could be many reasons behind why your ears didn’t heal properly. You may have a metal allergy that is constantly irritating your ears, or it may just be the type of earring, or how you change your earrings. Even sleeping on your side can irritate them.
You have a few options. One is to buy earrings that are completely nickel free. Even most gold and silver earrings will contain some nickel. If you’re really worried about it you could try surgical-grade stainless steel/titanium, or 14–16 karat gold. Costume/cheap earrings are the absolute worst idea, so don’t wear them!
The next option is to let your piercings close up completely, then get new piercings with safe metal, and leave them it for at least 6 weeks without changing them. If you disturb them, you’ll probably end up with the same problem as before.
The last option is what I’ve been doing; just toughing it out. I keep round backed studs in everyday, cleaning occasionally, in addition to when I change my earrings. I never leave my earrings out for more than a day. I did once, and my hole partially closed up. Ouch.
