Mountain jade: A primary ore produced on the mountain, it is characterized by sharp edges and corners, rough texture, large block, and often inferior to the quality.

Mountain and flowing water: It is between aberdeen jade and mountain jade. It has a larger lumpiness than aberdeen jade, slightly rounded, and has a smoother surface. The quality is slightly better than that of mountain jade, second only to aberdeen jade.

2. Divided by color

White jade: The color is white, may be slightly gray, and the texture is fine. The high-quality one is “mutton jade”, which is very rare.

Sapphire: Nephrite with gray-green hue, the most common.

Cyan white jade: The color is between white jade and sapphire.

Jasper: Green-dark green.

Batu topas: Yellow-beige, the best one is yellow like Yanli, very rare.

Sugar jade: The color is similar to brown sugar, mainly brown, cokelat, red, dll..

Moyu: Also called black jade. Refers to the nephrite jade whose color is pure black, jet black, and dark gray, with pure black being the best.

Flower jade: refers to a piece of jade that has multiple colors, is properly distributed, and constitutes a certain shape and pattern, seperti “tiger skin jade” Dan “variegated jade”.

The basic quality evaluation of nephrite jade has a recognized dimension in China. Good texture: Nephrite raw materials are required to be tough, fine and flawless.

Lumpiness: It requires a certain quality.
