The pendant is definitely plastic (but I expected that for $8) it still looks very nice though and is a great every day necklace. I haven’t had any problem with the chain tarnishing though which is a huge plus! I’m outside a lot in the sun and with my neck sweating and wearing this and I’ve seen no change in the color. I’ve had it for a few months wearing it most days and it still looks like when I bought it.
