I have had an earring for 14 години, since I was 12. At first people would notice it and say something, but now I almost never realise I’m still wearing it.
Funny enough, I can’t remember a single occasion in the last few years where someone I’ve met commented on it, while one of my oldest friends told me that sometimes he gets surprised when he remembers or notices I have it.
