The Shah Diamond, according to Tawani’s record, was once hung in front of the peacock on the Peacock Throne of the Mughal Dynasty. The shape of the diamond is like a rod. The rough stone weighs 95 ct and is yellow in color. The current weight is 88.7 CT.

On the top of this diamond, there is an extremely exquisite inscription carved in Persian. The content of the inscription is as follows: “Bourhan Nizam Shah 1000 (ملحوظة: إعلان 1591);

Fat Ati Shah (ملحوظة: 1842 إعلان)”.

The first line of inscriptions engraved the name of the ruler of Achmednager province in India, and the last line engraved the name of the king of Persia.
