Does sweat stains silver jewelry?

Sterling silver tarnishes when it comes into contact with sulfur.
I once went to a remote island in which the water that was used for showers and for flushing the toilets were very high in sulfur. One could smell the sulfur in the water when it was running. I wear lots of bangle bracelets every day, some are silver, some are gold. All of my silver bangles turned black because of the high sulfur content in the water. Wearing them as I normally do “polished”them again. We (jewelers) use a liquid with sulfur in it to purposefully tarnish silver jewelry in recessed areas for contrast. Sterling silver serving pieces and cutlery slowly tarnish over time just because there is sulfur in the air. Sometimes when I sweat, I can see that I have tarnish from my bracelets on my arm, it’s because of the sulfur in my sweat.
Organic gemstones such as pearls and corals are afraid of acid corrosion. Sweat is also the killer of organic gemstones. Avoid such gemstones and vinegar, acid detergents, إلخ. Contact, in the summer to avoid direct contact with the skin. Before the pearl collection, you can wipe it with a towel and some olive oil to make it bright and keep the pearl moisture and avoid cracking the bead surface. If the silverware is too dirty, you can dilute 50% with vinegar, but only once or twice, it will corrode for a long time.
